John 15:8 (AMP) “My Father is glorified and honored by this, when you bear much fruit, and prove yourselves to be My [true] disciples.”
From the text above, we have been called to “bear much fruit” as disciples of Jesus. So essentially, our lack of fruit is tantamount to unfaithfulness as true disciples.
Even though it is good to pay tithes and give offerings, the primary responsibility we have as disciples is to bear fruit by winning souls to Jesus. This is fruit that will remain. As faithful disciples, our Master Jesus calls us to be fruitful, because of at least these three reasons:
